OBJECTIVES

• To utilize innovative strategies & techniques to not only ensure the proverbial message is delivered to voters, but also to increase turnout on election day.
• Improve employee retention and upward mobility of workers through soft skills and customized workforce development training.

  • Economic Justice Alliance of Michigan (EJAM):

    1. Supported EJAM’s efforts with the Employment Equity Learning Advisory Committee (EELAC) by establishing relationships with 4 high schools and 6 non profit organizations to promote & advance understanding of employment equity and quality jobs in the region.

    2. Recruited 19 new restaurant/food service entrepreneurs to be members of the Restaurant Opportunities Center of Michigan (ROC-MI) RAISE (Restaurants Advancing Industry Standards of Employment) roundtable.
